We believe that by mobilizing and engaging friends of Cotes-de-Fer from the diaspora and across the globe, we can have a meaningful impact in nurturing hope and fostering actions for the durable development of the city.
The challenges may seem insurmountable, but there is always progress in unity and through caring.
Our vision is that one day each resident of the locality can live without poverty and can provide for their families through their hard work. We believe that our contributions and their dedication will allow their irrigated farms, animal husbandry and commercial fishing businesses to thrive and transform their communities in a sustainable manner.
It can only happen with your involvement, organization and your generosity.
Who we are

CADEV
CADEV is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization based in FL, USA.
The idea of creating our organization came from a lighthearted conversation between a couple of us. It was then shared with a few more, and our numbers quickly grew to fifty and are still growing. We all understood the impact that this action would have on our communities and knew that we had to take it further.
Organizing this group and our communities wherever they were located became our mission statement.
Our goal is to help develop the agricultural, social, and cultural sectors in the town of Côtes-de-Fer, located in the Great South East of Haiti.
We also understood that we could not accomplish our goals without collaborating with other associations and people with similar intentions. We decided to contact and invite the founder and president of Hope for a Village and VCRC to our group. This collaboration has been essential during this first year and has successfully helped us achieve our targeted goals.
